On Thursday evening, July 12, 2012, David and Janet Best arrived at Willow Valley from Rochester, NY about 4 PM. Matt Best came from New York City to meet us at 6:30 PM at The Stock Yard Inn for their usual great dinner and a fun evening of family conversation. Al enjoys telling stories about his experiences in his early days, and he had a rapt audience.

Jill and Dave Staggert took Ben and Jacob to Rhode Island for a vacation and posted this photo of their favorite pastime, watching a Boston Red Socks baseball game. Matt is planning to take Al and I to Rochester the end of August, and we are looking forward to seeing all their family then, and a chance to swim in Jill’s new pool.
